How we help
Client support
Help is available from the Design Commission for Wales, for clients at the earliest stages of projects. We may be able to help with defining your project, developing the project brief, or contributing to your procurement and team selection process. The long-term success of any project depends upon upfront engagement. We can facilitate workshops that add value and help save you time and costly changes at a later stage.

How we help
Training & CPD
Bespoke training for local authorities, town and community councils, and third sector groups is available from the Design Commission for Wales. Topics include sustainability, placemaking and assessing design. We will be happy to speak with you about your particular training needs.

How we help
Design review
Our design review service is available for clients, developers, designers, planning authorities, stakeholders, other public bodies, community groups or members of the public wanting an independent expert view. We can help to identify early opportunities for good design quality in development proposals well in advance of a planning application and assist local authorities to secure public value through design excellence.
