Welsh Passive House
The Design Commission for Wales were delighted to be a part of the judging panel including representatives from the Building Research Establishment and the Wales and West Housing Association who are the client for the project.
A call for entries for The Gold Medal for Architecture in Wales, at the National Eisteddfod in Blaenau Gwent and the Heads of the Valleys in 2010.
Design Review last took place on February 17th. Of the 5 schemes reviewed, 3 were public. These schemes were a proposed new house in the Gower, a new cafe & heritage centre attached to the old vestry of St Michael's Church in Aberystwyth and a new riverside dwelling in Brecon. The next Design Review meeting day is March 24th.
