How is the Commission involved in Education?

• DCfW's work in championing good design throughout Wales is underpinned by a strong educational platform of activity based projects, aimed at developing greater understanding of the value of good design in the built environment.

• It is vital that people of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to explore, understand, address, influence and effect positive change in their environment and therefore quality of life, through inclusive programmes. DCfW's framework and resource pack for primary education My Square Mile is available to download from this site. Free copies of the book and CD are available on request. Our new programme for communities Know Your Place is to be published shortly along with a new framework for secondary education.
