Design Commission for Wales

How We Work:

• The Design Commission for Wales champions great buildings, places and spaces throughout Wales, working with local authorities, developers, designers and decisions makers.

The Commission has a staff team of six, three of whom are part time, which supports the Chairman and six Commissioners and the twenty four Design Review Panel members. The staff are multi-disciplinary in their experience and expertise and together they deliver DCFW's programme of Education, Training, Design Review, Advocacy and Policy Advice.

Who else works within the organisation ?

• The Commission also has twenty four design review panel members who are appointed following a competitive interview process they also operate on a voluntary basis, are leaders in their field within the built environment and four of them are also Commissioners.
