Design Commission for Wales

What kind of people are we looking for?

• If you love beautiful buildings and places, are passionate about design and the quality of our built environment, can enthuse others and would like to work with us as a professional volunteer, please write to us and tell us why you might do this for us, better than anyone else.

Commissioners

• Commissioners are appointed through the Welsh Assembly Government public appointments process, if you are interested in becoming involved with the Commission as a Commissioner, please get in touch with us and we can let you know when the next public appointments process is going to happen.

Design Review Panel Members

• If you are interested in becoming a Design Review Panel member, please get in touch with us by sending us your CV and a letter indicating why you want to work on the Design Review Panel.

• The Commission currently has 24 design review panel members who are appointed following a competitive interview process we are always looking to expand our team.

Student Placements

• If you are interested in undertaking a student placement with us, please get in touch, we work with both Cardiff University and the University of the West of England 'Agency Project' placing students for 6 weeks, unpaid experience with us. Send us your CV and a letter indicating why you want to work with us.
